Job Purpose: The logistics agent receives and ships goods. As a preparer and storekeeper, they manage inventory and orders while adhering to procedures and deadlines.
Work Relationships:
- INTERNAL: Reports to the manager (workshop supervisor). Interacts with the administrative-commercial and accounting assistant, operators-setters, setters, and methods personnel.
- EXTERNAL: Interacts with subcontractors, carriers, and suppliers.
Key Activities:
- Receive company materials or client materials (identification, documentation organization, communication with purchasing if documents are missing upon receipt).
- Manage subcontracting (send parts to the subcontractor and handle the return of parts from the subcontractor to meet client deadlines) and manage documentation upon receipt of parts (Processing Certificate, CCPU, etc.).
- Prepare and package products according to client specifications.
- Store additional parts in inventory with documentation (manufacturing traceability).
- Ship client orders while meeting deadlines.
- Manage packaging stock.
- Clean and organize workstations daily.
- Responsibilities and Scope of Action:
- Receives and ensures the conformity of deliveries.
- Ensures proper storage of products.
- Prepares orders and packages products.
- Ensures their shipment.
- Stores products following company instructions.
- Records and tracks inventory.
- Conducts inventories.
- Reports to the Manager (workshop supervisor) any malfunctions and anomalies.
- Adheres to proper handling techniques and postures.
- Follows safety guidelines (wearing PPE, keeping aisles clear, etc.).
- Complies with waste sorting regulations.
- Specific Professional Knowledge:
- Understanding of the company’s internal ERP system.
- Knowledge of inventory techniques and stock management.
